Package Information and Key Features
Reliability And Performance
Avira’s greatest feature by far is its top-notch malware protection, which can be customised depending on how you want to use your computer. Unfortunately, Avira’s Antivirus significantly affects your computer’s performance during scans. However, at least the fast scans are indeed fast and won’t take up much of your time. In any case, Avira’s overall performance can be said to be excellent, when we take into account that most independent tests report 99% to 100% threat detection.
Avira Antivirus Pro will keep your PC secure on a number of fronts – from dangerous URLs, spyware, malware, phishing to viruses and trojans. Among other things, your online shopping and banking will be kept secure and your identity will be completely safe, as Avira blocks keyloggers, rootkits and spyware. The data you keep on your computer will stay there, as Avira will prevent it from being hijacked or manipulated in any way.
Installation and Ease of Use
The installation process is quick, simple and straightforward. It takes only about 3 minutes to get your system secured. After installing the program you will just need to enter the activation code and you’re all set. From that point on you shouldn’t have any problems using your Avira Antivirus Pro, as the interface is easy to navigate and you should be able to easily find all the features you need, turn them on or of or modify them in some other way. In this sense, Avira is very user friendly.
The operating systems Avira Antivirus Pro supports are as follows:
Windows 10 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Windows 8.1 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Windows 8 (32-bit or 64-bit)

From the program’s main window, it is clearly visible if everything is in order, and there are on and off buttons for features like real-time protection, web protection, the firewall and game mode.
